IC card types

Below is a list of the various types of Tokyo Institute of Technology IC cards. (For information on how to apply for an IC card, see Applying for an IC card and having an IC card reissued.)

Notes (*)

  1. Each campus has a different office responsible for IC card types.
    Ookayama Campus/Tamachi Campus: General Administration Group, Human Resources Division
    Suzukakedai Campus: Human Resources Group, General Affairs Division
  2. Any individual who has an employment relationship with the Tokyo Institute of Technology but is not a full-time staff member or part-time lecturer is considered a "part-time staff member".
  3. Researchers approved by the faculty council as Tokyo Institute of Technology researchers
  4. Access cards must be approved by department chiefs/center directors before being issued.
  5. Any individual who engages in research, etc., at the Tokyo Institute of Technology but conducts his or her primary duties elsewhere (at a different employer) is considered an "employee."
  6. Building administrators are responsible for distributing cards to users.
